Improv final reflection

 I entered my improv and creativity class with an open mind excited to see what the class is all about. Throughout my first semester of my experience at Cheshire I learned a lot about who I am as a creative person and what really makes me a creative person in everything I do. I learned that I work very well when I just improvise my ideas on the spot and use my creativity to write, to create, to think, or just anything. I learned that when I put my mind to it I can work very hard and get a lot if not all my work done in a short period of time. I also learned that when I really put my mind to it and even listen to music while working I got a lot more work done. Music motivates me a lot and it really helps me get my work done fast and efficiently, and that is when I have my best thinking and my hardest work. Creative Quotes

     1.  "I know that dreams motivate us. But I believe it is your vision, as well as your dreams, that will make you an artist, perhaps even the greatest artist." This could be used for the mixtape I want to take for my manifesto.      2.   "Great artists have, and they walked where politicians and lawmakers and even educators wouldn't dare go." This quote can apply to any of my 3 ideas because I am taking risks by doing 2 of them and the other is a hard task with editing and getting clips.

Reflection

       Creating the final product of my groups project was a long process which required a lot of thought and work. We all worked really hard to think of movements which would be meaningful to the project and contribute to the mood of our piece. It was very frustrating at times to come up with some of these ideas and movements for the piece because we wanted to be completely unique and not use filler moves to just take up time and to take away from some of the important movements that would actually make a point in the mood of the project. From the beginning to the end my group worked well together. We all worked very hard and throughout the entire team we all gave ideas and really helped contribute good smart ideas that fit into the theme of the piece. Reflection

 I got the most information from peers who helped me around campus whenever I asked or seemed confused. Everyone was very kind and is very kind. I got frustrated with the school work a few times because it was a lot at first. My partner artist helped me in the way that I could really connect with them and how they thought about their projects and items that they made. My critique was very true I believe because I worked very hard on my project and put a lot of heart into it and there were only some minor problems with it.
